We are seeking an equally passionate Solar Utility & Permit Supervisor to help further our mission through excellent craftsmanship, customer service, and a team-focused approach.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise the department and offer help with solving issues.
• Work with team on daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Manage the timely submissions and approvals for both the utility interconnection and permit process.
• Prepare and track outstanding documents needed to obtain utility and permit approval.
• Monitor project flow and follow up with utility companies and AHJs on issues to reduce cycle times.
• Track jurisdiction specific requirements for permits and provide that information to the team.
• Ensure all documents that are sent out and received are uploaded into the CRM.
• Answer phone and email requests from customers, utility companies and AHJs.
• Review update CRM activities with each step in the process.
• Support all utility and/or permit submissions and receives (call, mail, email, and portal).
• Able to research and resolve issues with utility and permitting submissions.
• Train new employees on the submission and receive process for both utility and permitting.
• Build relationships with utility companies and the AHJs
• Help create Standard Operating Procedures for utility and permitting processes.
• Help perform in PosiGen systems quality deep dives and metrics tracking.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• Utility/Permitting Supervisor experience or equivalent from another solar company required.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Pro Must be proficient with Google Email, Drive, Documents and Sheets.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload.
